We are currently offering 1 day, weekend, and weeklong outdoor education programs. Topics include firebuilding techniques, knot tying and lashing, survival shelters, water purification, basic and advanced wilderness first aid, orienteering, safety, and organizational structure. We will keep evolving with the courses to insure they are quality instruction. Additional topics will be added. Both winter and summer courses are available. We will also begin organizing international expeditions. Extended backpacking trips to scandinavia, whitewater rafting, rockclimbing and more. A chance to hone your skills, test yourself, learn valuable leadership and teamwork skills, gain personal development, all while enjoying the opportunities that nature provides. A new website is currently under construction to take care of all the special needs of this endeavor. For current opportunities, please submit an email or call Rodney to take care of your group needs.
We currently offer a beginner level instruction, and an intermediate level. The beginner level is designed for young adults who have no camping experience and are looking to learn the basics to have a good time while outdoors. The intermediate level is an expanded version to include more challenging tasks, as well as to prepare leaders of groups to be able to take the skills learned, and teach them to their group.
We are currently developing a Professional Guide Level course. It is not available at this time. It will involve several weeks of instruction, designed to enable graduates to pursue a career in outdoor education and instruction. We are working on developing the program, and hope to have University accreditation, as well as certification from the EU. Additionally, we hope to be able to offer internships! Stay tuned for this exciting adventure!
